BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Memorial sundial in Section XG3 of the (Old) cemetery. The octagonal dial layout on a circular plate has eight lobes holding the time scale which indicates from 4am to 8pm in 30 and 15 min intervals. The inner eight lobes also contain 8 compass directions. Around the outer edge of the plate the motto reads: "I only count the sunny hours". The sundial is mounted on a squat white stone circular section baluster pedestal and is a memorial to A Crowder died 1942.
