BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe

A vertical dial declining about 44°W is painted on a wooden board and shows the hours IX - VII divided into halves by lines terminating in an arrowhead. The hour lines emanate from the gnomon root. At the top is the motto ’My time is in thy hand’ while ’Horae pereunt et imputantur’ (The hours pass and are reckoned [against us])’ appears below. A maker’s name appears in the lower right hand corner but is too small to decipher.
