BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter Mancroft Church, Norwich

Gnomon supported by gilded crossed keys. Gold lines and lettering on white and blue ground. Shows 7am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Half hours further marked by lozenges between the numerals. Numerals are in line with hour lines. Horizon line cut off by roof line. Arch under leaves lower time scale bent. Dial therefore has ’arrow’ appearance.
