BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Semicircular dial reminiscent of a mass dial with lobes at 9/10am and 2/3pm and trapezoidal stone at base. Space for numerals but these not evident. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Temporary wire gnomon in place. Dial secured to S of chimney. The dial is thought to date from a house rebuild in 1635, and there may have been a date on the dial. The property was previously called ’La Maletière’. Similar to SRN 3847.
