BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Motto is illegible, Unusual dial for its setting. Two black semicircles around gnomon root. Letters and lines incised and painted black all on stone ground - though little paint exists on East side of dialplate. Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Uses 0 for Noon and IV for 4pm. All numerals vertical, incised dots mark ends of quarter lines. Gnomon is rod with single supporter. The whole set in a rendered pedimented frame, over the north side gate.
