BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Cuthbert’s Churchyard, Middlesbrough

East and West facing scaphe dials with date on the West face. No gnomons present but evidence of lead fixings. Possible South facing Scaphe dial on chamfered corner. Possible horizontal on top because of lead fixings there too. Stone is 53 ins high but 13.5 x 6 at base.
