BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

A modern dial, a good example of ’American’ style relief markings. Motto reads: ’Tempus Fugit’. All markings in relief. Shows 5 am to 7 pm in hours. Large circular segment at gnomon root. Uses XII and IV. Numerals read from outside the chapter ring. Set on square section pedestal 500mm high with chamfered corner capital.
