BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Bourton House (1), Bourton-on-the-Hill

High on the S wall of a house in the grounds of Bourton House to the N. Stone block dial partly inset into gable wall, about 10 m up. Shows 8am to 6pm in hours. Uses XII and III. Hook tipped triangular sheet gnomon with ’S’ supporter. Hook is not a nodus - no evidence of declination lines on the wall below. The dial declines 16 deg W and is not easy to read.
