St Mary’s Church, Bishop’s Lydeard

On the gable of the porch The dial was originally incised into the wall. Hour lines were marked from 7am to 5pm but only a few lines and numerals can now be seen . The hours are marked in two arcs with 7am and 5pm being at a smaller radius. The dial has been shaded by a large Yew tree for over 100 years.
