BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Bath Arms PH, Crockerton, Nr Warminster

The dial is over the front door. It shows 7am to 5pm in hours, using XII and IV, with gold lettering on the slate ground. Numerals aligned vertically, with XII offset to left of the hour line. The dial origin is unusually above the drawn chapter ring. PM hours may be obscured by the west wing of the house. Bar gnomon with elegant scroll undersupporter. Mounting wall may decline up to 5 degs E of South.
