BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Motto of four words in gothic script under the Noon mark is now illegible - photo in archive. Conventional dial of this type. Shows 5am to 7pm in 2 min marks. Only spring is not original. Dial keeps time to 3mins. Dial originated from a house in Surrey in the 1950’s.
