BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Moulded concrete dial in the form of an old column capital. Attached iron numerals on top. Shows 8am to 5pm in hours. Uses XII and IV. Numerals read from inside the chapter ring. Missing ’I’ from 1, 2 and 3. Holes for gnomon and numerals visible. Mounted 600 h on square plinth.
