BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Le Coin, St Ouen

The sundial is on the southern side of the house in a grey granite frame. It is set at an angle in order to face due south. The hours from 6am to 6pm have upright Arabic numbers in black. There are unpainted full lines for the hours and half hours and the quarters are marked by dots. The metal rod gnomon has an inverted ’Y’ shaped support. Inscription above the gnomon: ’LE COIN 1891’ On the granite below the dial are the initials: ’E.J.LB * A.C. LC.’ They refer to Elie Joseph Le Blancq and his wife Augusta Cordelia Le Cerf.
