BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Dial set into a wall that faces approx 30deg W of S. Horizontal gnomon rod. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours with only 6, 9, 12, 3 and 6 numbered in Roman letters. Hour lines are incised in a shield which is in relief at the top left of another similar though larger shield which bears a sailing ship design and maker’s logo ?AM. Dial known to have been purchased in France.
