BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Shropshire

The dial is mounted on a platform on a buttress at the east end of the south wall. The surface of the dialplate is badly scratched. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks, using XII and IIII, the numerals read from inside. It has a four hole fixing. The gnomon (slightly bent) has an ornate ’S’ shaped supporter with foliage décor.
