BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

This dial has been removed from the wall and is now held in the cellar (D Levitt 2014). Break arch dial with date in arch. Some damage, originally canted Thin crescent surrounds gnomon root as a terminator for the hour lines. Some evidence of blue paint. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours and half hours. Half hour lines extend only part way. Half hours also marked by three dot pattern in chapter ring. Split Noon line, Uses XII & IV. Triangular bar gnomon with bulbous tip; painted white with straight supporter. Dial canted slightly to the East and crudely pointed at its edge.
