BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Rose Cottage, Summerbridge

A declining vertical dial set in the east stone wall. Large Arabic date under dial proper and ’Lat:53:N:Dec:41[?]:E’ above. Shows 4am to 3pm in half and quarter hours. Three dot inward markers for half hours. Split substyle line. Semicircle hour line terminator around offset gnomon root. Gnomon cast and surface mounted.
