BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St John the Baptist, Chipping Sodbury

On East buttress of nave South wall. Motto reads: "So Passeth away the Glory of Ye World". Shows 6 am to 6 pm in 30 and 15 min marks. Black lines on stone. Lines terminate at semi-circle around gnomon root. Uses XII & IIII. Dial fills full width of buttress. Gnomon appears new (or newly painted) with single ’S’ shaped supporter.
