BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

A cast dial markings etc in relief. Shows 5am to 7pm in half and quarter hours. Uses ’arrow’ mark for Noon and IIII. Numerals read from inside the chapter ring. Mounted on low height fluted circular pedestal 550h, with octagon ring at half height and octagonal capital. Brass plaque records donation in memory of Peggy Alexander 1996.
