BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Half of a diptych pair with SRN 4586 with an included angle of 270 degs. It was found over SRN 4584-5 when the building was demolished in the 1920s. Black lines etc on wood. Shows 4am to 10am in 30 and 15 min marks. Inward pointing half hour markers use fleurs de lys. Last painted by Wm Corder in 1898. Date early 18c.
