BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Jodrell Bank Science Centre & Arboretum, Goostrey

Inner time ring BST, some hour markers missing, Outer time ring was GMT, missing. Descriptive plaque missing. Hour markers set too low in turf so they collect leaves etc. Date scale adjusted to show BST in summer months. (Photo (b) shows dial in 1993, before sinking of BST markers and loss of GMT markers.)
