BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is in the garden. It is a cuboid block having traces of a horizontal dial, 3 vertical dials and 3 scaphe (two hemispherical) dials. No hour lines or numerals visible. Traces of all the gnomons exist. New gnomon made for the horizontal dial. Was formerly at Elford Hall Staffs. Dial was 180 degrees out of alignment. Now (2005) fixed. Cracks have been filled but no other restoration undertaken. Rests on a square of bricks at the edge of a patio.
