BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The dial on the green West of the church is a chamfered square section wooden post (3050h) with hexagonal seat around base and with apex ’roof’ to dial. Dials on North and South faces. Pedimented gnomon bearing plate on N face includes hour lines but these carried out to engraved lines and numerals in the wood - gnomon itself is broken off and appears wrongly positioned. South face has lost its gnomon plate and gnomon. East side has date carved in the wood.. West side blank. North face is wrongly delineated with wrongly ordered numerals. It purports to show 7am to 9am and 3pm to 5pm in hours. South face shows 7am to 5pm in hours. Plaque records dial given from public subscriptions.
