BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Goodwood House, Waterbeach

The dial is on the stable clock turret. It probably dates from about 1760. The mtto reads: "Non Sine Lumine". Declination lines for solstices and equinoxes, azimuthal lines from WSW to SEBS in 1/32 of the circle. Shows 8am to 6pm in half and quarter hours with dots in chapter ring marking half hours. Uses XII & IIII. Rod gnomon, no split substyle. Gold lines and numerals on black. Dial restored by West Dean College 1994 where details are kept.
