BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Pancras Old Church, Camden

The dial forms part of a huge monument to those buried in this old churchyard. It is formed of pierced black metal supported over a white stone background, and was designed by George Highton of Brixton in decorative Gothic style. It has aligned Roman hour numerals IX - XII - IIII - VIII, half and quarter hours being indicated. Hour lines run to a winged leaf design around the gnomon root. The motto above reads: ’TEMPUS EDAX RERUM’. The monument was unveiled in 1879 by Baroness Burdett-Coutts.
