BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church Farm, Tudeley

In the farmhouse, adjacent to All Saints Church, this dial has an unusual, shaped thin gnomon with holes and large rear cutout. The gnomon extends over much of dial plate. Hours in Roman numerals are shown from 6am to 6pm in hours and are in line with hour ’lines’ but these lines not drawn. The numerals use the form XII and IV. It has 4 hole fixing at the cardinal points of the 8 point compass and is set on a stone baluster pedestal with square (side 360mm) capital and plinth. A similar dials is found at Great Comp, SRN 6500.
