BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Marine Walk, Swansea

Known as the ’Globe Sundial’. Two bands of Roman numerals (odd and even hours) and 24 gnomon fins allow the time to be read from the fin with the least shadow. The dial is delineated in hours. It is set on a bronze plinth which is marked with the four cardinal points of the compass.
