BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Market Place, Uttoxeter

Two ring armillary sphere forming part of the Town’s Millennium monument. Gnomon is 8mm dia rod and terminates in a brass ball finial. Polar ring is partly embedded in a phosphor bronze base (representing the positions of the planets at 24hrs 31st Dec 1999) and is formed from two differing semicircles. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours and in 30 and 10 min intervals with Arabic numerals. Monument contains a time capsule containing efforts of the young population and items from the industries of the town.
