BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Arena, Bracknell

Monumental 4m high modern equatorial sundial in a striking cruciform design in cast concrete. The 30mm diameter stainless steel rod gnomon has no nodus. Arabic hour numerals show BST on the upper (summer) face with half and quarter hour marks. The lower (winter) face has GMT hour numbers with half hours marked. The semicircular face has hour lines. Latitude and longitude are indicated on the east vertical face, an Equation of Time graph on the west face.
