BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Gainsborough’s House (2), Sudbury

Located in garden to rear. Shows time from 4am to 8pm in hours. Only Noon is numbered. Solid triangular brass gnomon. Dial is Cumbrian green slate. Mounted on Bath stone pedestal of square section, 1000h and of side 100. Possibly temporary exhibit only.
