BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial was originally on a parapet near the entrance, and all gnomons were missing by 2000. It is now (2022) above a newly-formed gateway into the orchard, with new gnomons designed and made by David Edwick. The date is marked on the south face. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours with Arabic numerals. Lines emanate from a circle at gnomon root. East face shows 4am to 11am and West face shows 1pm to 9pm in hours, again with Arabic numerals. E & W faces have staggered numerals, odd on one side of time lines even on the other. All gnomons are missing. Square dome finial to block. Funds being sought in 2000 for restoration.
