BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Parish Churchyard, Stoke Gabriel

This slate memorial dial is fixed to the northern boundary wall of the churchyard about a metre above ground level. At the top an Inscription reads: "In loving memory of Renie Fuller-Shapcott 1915-1999". Below the dial is "The kiss of sun for pardon, the song of the birds for mirth, one is nearer God’s heart in a garden, than anywhere else on earth. Latitude 50° 24’ N". Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Numerals read from bottom. Uses XII & IV. Split Noon line. The dial measures 450mmw x 600mmh.
