BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Organic Gardens, Yalding

This dial is near the entrance on the B2162, and is a ’human gnomon’ type. Stand on the date and look at your shadow. Two scales show BST & GMT. Hours are shown from 6am to 9pm (GMT) and 7am to 6pm (BST) both in hours. The GMT scale is 5800mm across; the BST is 4400mm across. The time markers & month scale use brass numerals on brick. Time markers are 300mm diam. The month scale is numbered 1-12. There is a descriptive plaque nearby.
