BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The floral clock, Andover

Direct east & west vertical dials held aloft by a walking man statue. This is the east-facing dial. It shows 7am to 11am GMT, with each hour line also showing the BST equivalent, in half hours (and quarter hours between 10 and 11am). The dial is longitude-adjusted, so tells GMT/BST on average. A table of the Equation of Time, showing the difference between GMT and the time shown by a sundial, is on the plinth. The sculpture was designed and made by Claire Norrington, a local artist, and the dial calculated by Peter Ransom. A meridian line will be part of this development (not yet as at 2010). The west-facing side of this dial is listed here as SRN 4455.
