BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hampshire

The dial stands on the lawn of the main court, where SRN 0579 was previously located. The motto reads: ’A time to plant and a time to pluck’ (Eccles 3.2). The small pierced slate gnomon is not positioned properly and the hour lines are not drawn correctly. No split noon line. Shows 4am to 8pm in hours and 30, 15, & 7,5 mins, using XII & IIII. Cross of Jerusalem at due south point. Portland Stone baluster pedestal 810h with circular capital and square plinth. Identical gnomon shape to SRN 3023 and 3101, also in Winchester.
