BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

The dial is over a second floor window on the south wall. It appears to be original (being sized to the window), but is slightly shaded by the eaves. The motto along the top edge is indistinct but probably reads: ’Pereunt et Imputantur’. There is a gold sun at the gnomon root. Black hour lines, short inward pointing half hours with lozenges. Red-brown border (4 sides) holds black numerals and motto all on white ground. Recessed inner border inside chapter square was also red-brown. Shows 5am to 3pm in half hours. Uses XII. ’S’ shaped gnomon supporter.
