BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

The dial is set on a cast baluster pedestal 750h with octagonal capital and square base in the centre of the rear lawn. There are no hour lines though half hours are marked by lines between the numerals. The plate is inscribed URNTIQUES (supplier?) fitted over a space covering the makers name. It shows 4am to 8pm in half hours using XII & IIII, with no split noon line. Gnomon angle is correct. The dial appears possibly to be a cast copy of a bronze dial.
