BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Acton Round Hall, Acton Round

This horizontal dial probably dates from re-occupation of the Hall in 1918 and is located in the garden. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 & 2 min marks. It uses XII & IIII and a probable split noon line. The gnomon is largely infilled with two side supports and vertical rear edge. The dial is mounted on circular section baluster pedestal 1250h with round top and base on square plinth.
