BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Edward King House, Lincoln

Cast dial with markings and furniture in relief. Wrongly delineated & with gnomon wrongly positioned. Shows 6am to 6pm in half hours with zodiac signs and names at each hour. Uses XII and IV. No split noon. Compass shows the four cardinal points prominently. Placed more for its effect on the garden view. Shaded by trees. Obtained from Crowder’s Nursery, Horncastle Lincs. Mounted on an assembled pedestal made from staggered pavers with circular concrete capital and square concrete plinth.
