BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester
This bronze horizontal dial shows the hours IIII - VIII . There are four time scales: the outer is marked in 30, 15, and 7.5 mins. Next in quarters. Next is the chapter ring then two rings showing half hours. The motto round the edge reads "Seize the present moment the evening hour is nigh". Compass rose has 4 decorated points and four simple lines. On rough tapered stone pedestal 990mmh with circular capital and square plinth. Plaque on base reads: "To Memory of Elsie F Phillips 1898-1987". The dial is 190mm in diameter. There are two mass dials on the church wall.
