BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is located at the east end of the south wall and may not face due south. The motto is indecipherable now. Eden & Lloyd say: "Our days on earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding" (1 Chron XX 15). An engraved bronze EoT plaque below has at its base ’C. C. W. 1896’. The dial had a red time scale on a white ground. It shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours, but only the 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 1 and 6 numerals are visible.
