BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Walnut Tree Cottage, Woolstone

On patio to North of House. Three ring sphere with hour ring split with inset brass hour scale. Mounting appears not to be adjustable for latitude. Arrow gnomon. Iron work in black. Mounted on circular base by four-rod support forged into central double orthogonal circle device all atop a pedestal of a bird (?eagle) and with a three tier square base. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Dial visible from adjacent footpath.
