BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Dorset

EoT scale shows dates and minutes fast or slow. Outer time scale shows minutes. Shows 4am to 8pm in half hours and minutes. Half hour markers point outwards with arrowheads. Fleurs de lys between the hour numerals. 4am and pm marked as IIII. Noon marked as XII. Mounted using a three bolt fixing to an octagonal bulbous stone pedestal 1080h set on octagonal base. Circular capital has one crack.
