BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Bishop’s Palace, Wells

Dial cut into wall over door to turret in NE corner of Palace courtyard. Declines 12 degrees W. Eroded Arabic numerals of 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3. Dial appears fast. Some dots and lines mark half hours. Shows 7am to 6pm in half hours.
