BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

This War Memorial sundial is mounted on a rectangular granite block, with RAF insignia and memorial. It shows the time from 6am to 6pm in quarter hours, with Roman numerals indicating the hours. An inscription reads: "Delineate (sic) Evans & Evans. Alresford, Facit (sic) E Richardson; XC Squadron Royal Air Force".
