BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Walnut Tree House, Ashton under Hill

On the west side of Main Street over the cottage gate is a stone cube dial which is clearly misaligned since the south dial is facing east. Three sheet metal gnomons are present but only the south dial still retains any markings. This shows the hours VI- VI divided into half hours with noon marked by a cross. There is a rectangle round the gnomon root. The dial may have been brought here from its original site.
