BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

The dial is in the garden area of the Close. The motto reads: "Sunny Houres". Spiral pattern on the gnomon. Dial though fixed down is broken into two pieces in an attempt to reposition the gnomon which now points South instead of North. Lines and numerals in relief. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 7.5 min marks. Mounted on square section concrete ?stone pedestal and plinth with ’spokeshave’ cuts along each edge. Dial reported by Jill Wilson in Dec 2002 as removed by lady owner on moving away. Current location unknownà
