BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Coldhams, Glemsford

The dial is in the centre of the formal gardens. The motto reads: "C’est le heur de bien faire", and an inscription reads: "Donald from Harriet 22 July 1999". Serial No JPG025. White fill to engraving, Floral pattern on dial plate. Analemma with months on alidade. Arabic numerals. Shows 1am to midnight in 30, 15, 10 and 5 min marks. Set on modern, white, stone, cylindrical, vertically fluted, pedestal 1100h on double-step octagonal inset-stone plinth and with circular capital 400diam and 100 thick. The gardens are sometimes open for charity.
