BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial Cottage, Belton

Over bay window. Motto reads: "Non Numero Horas Nisi Serenas". Square dial set in an inset stone crossed-squares (or star shaped) frame. Motto is incised around the top of the dial in this frame. Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours but with pointed strip gnomon aligned nearly with the 1pm line. Uses XII and IIII. Half circle sunburst at root. Set in star shaped recess of crossed squares. Curly gnomon supporter. Date on house, 1849.
