BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church (2), Piddlehinton

The dial is on the SW buttress of the tower. It is the newer of the two dials at his church, the other being SRN 1930, on the SW buttress. Sunburst & time lines are cut & gilded. Shows 7am to 5pm in hours. The gnomon is a replica of that on the other dial. Designed by David Hamlin and made by Edward Hall (Mason) with delineation by M Lowne & R Nicholls. Motto reads: "Sol Venit" in red on cut lines. Date is MM in the same.
